Hey Sare-Bears! For this weeks weekly DIY we are going to be tye dying a white tee I got from Wal-Mart. I am also going to show y'all the one I made for Beaux. I will be showing y'all step by step how to create this fun and extremely affordable DIY. I think it only cost me around $15. I got all my supplies from Wal-Mart. I love that your design will never be exactly like anyone else's. Okay lets get started!
Supplies:
1. dye colors of your choice
2. disposable gloves
3. about 3 or 4 rubber bands
4. a t-shirt of your style and choice
TIP: wear clothes that you won't mind getting dye on
Directions:
1. put on your disposable gloves to protect your hands and open the dyes
2. pinch the center of the shirt and twirl left or right till it makes a circle shape
3. take three to four rubber bands and stretch them across to make six to eight triangle shape ( make sure the center of the bands looks the same on the front and back and you may want to double them up )
4. pick the colors you will be dying with and put the dye in the triangles and try not to get on the other side of the rubber bands
5. once you are done dying all the triangles let it dry for 1-2 hours and take off the rubber bands then let it dry flat for another 3-4 hours to dry quicker or wait all 6-8 hours or over night with the rubber bands still on
6. after 6ish hours wash the shirts you have made and then let them air dry and then you are ready to wear them
Here are some images to help in case above was confusing
