Hey Sare-Bears! As almost all of you know school is back in session. Sadly this means that our lovely summers filled with trips, friends and lazy days have come to an end. Many of my teachers have already made us take quiz's and tests, honestly though it is not surprising since I am in high school. Within the past week I have already learn some great tool and note taking techniques I want to share with y'all. First always make sure that you get your work done ASAP since it will most likely pile up anyways. Second make sure you are communicating with your teachers and making sure y'all are always on the same page, that being said don't bug them with obnoxious comments, questions, or emails, they have lives outside of school too you know! If a teacher gives the class their phone number I encourage you to use it with care and responsibility. Keep in mind that is their personal phone. You wouldn't like it if someone blew your phone up with annoying questions and comments would you? Third always make sure that you are taking notes correctly. Hint: not every word needs to be high lighted (speaking from experience) in different colors, and don't over color code. Make sure you understand what you are writing. It will not help if you don't understand the topic to just write words down. Last of all make sure you are having fun! I highly encourage you to join a team or club. They are great ways to build self character and friendships you can carry on through high school and longer. Get involved in games and pep rallies, please I beg you to enjoy pep rallies! Speaking from a cheerleaders point of view it makes our jobs a lot easier and less embarrassing. I truly hope y'all all have a great 2017-2018 school year!
Love,
Sarah Elise
