Hey yall! I just got back from Louisiana last night and I thought I would share some of the things I did while I was there.

I started my weekend off with a 5k at the Fort Worth Zoo. It was so much fun! My mom and her coworkers decided this would be a fun thing for our families to do together. After that we ate at this really yummy resteraunt called Our Place. Once we got done eating we left for Louisiana. After we arrived at our hotel it was really late, so we went to sleep. The next morning we decided to go to New Orleans for the day. That trip was definitely a once in a lifetime experience and I think I will keep it that way. People in New Orleans are crazy enought but on top of that there was a WWE match going on as well. I truly was not expecting half of what I saw. There was one guy at 11:20 am who was on his second cup of beer. I was baffled. We did get lots of goodies and souviners though. If yall want to see more of that then go to @saraheliseblog on Instagram and I have a highlighted story from this trip.

The next day finally came and it was time for my LSU Gold Campus Tour. It was so amazing! I have always loved LSU, but this just made my love grow. We started out walking around the Geaux Center and then headed to the quad. This is where almost all freshman classes are held. Next we went to the bell tower which had an extremely cool military history background on it. Then we hopped on the shuttle bus and headed over to the U-Rec center. On the way there we passed the Greek Amphitheatre where parts of Pitch Perfect where filmed. YALL I about died when I walked through it. After that we passed the LSU Dairy Store where student from the AG College make their own ice cream and sell it there. Soon after we arrived at the U-Rec. That place was so amazing yall! It had everything you could imagine! Also right outside of it there was a lazy river that spells out LSU! How cool is that? Once the tour was over my parents and I headed over to the dairy store to get some Tiger Bite ice cream and it was so good! It is a mix of blueberry and vanilla and it almost makes tiger strips in the ice cream.

I truly had such an amazing time and I highly recommend visiting LSU. It is my dream school and hopefully I can make that a realty. Thank yall for reading and have a great day!

Love,

    Sarah Elise
